    Check with the local guys to you at the power company. I can sometimes get telephone poles for free and they even loaded them for me the last time I got some.

    I almost purchased an old farm house on a few acres in MA once. It had a multilevel barn made of mortise and tenon beams. Early 1800s I believe. I was going to rent out the three stories of the house and make the barn my house :D
