I felt the same, Mange. Very inconclusive, and not particularly convincing.

Does yours have a trad screwdriver slot or an allen, Brendon?

Guess Stihl changed 'em up a bit.

Odd that they are not the same...both new 201T's, right?

I'd never argue that Stihl is better than Husky, or viceversa (though at times I'm sure I've sounded like a Stihloholic :)). There never was and never will be ANY saw manufacturer that uniformly produced absolute superior products across their whole line of offerings. They've both had some...

Don't forget that you'll need to re-tune the saw afterwards, Cory. I don't know the Huskys, but on a Stihl, you'd have to nip off the ears on the needle limiters to be able to do so adequately.

I was just going to post the same point, Greg. The 200 manual says to shift it at effing 50 degrees F. That's not cold at all. I don't have any idea if the 201 has the same recommendation, though. So the C model...that's a computer chip controlled model?? Different than the other 201's...

Reports on this saw are all over the map...very confusing. Squish says his is lousy, like yours. Brendon says his is as good as a 200. I dunno what to think.

Ohhh, that is a sad thing to read, Cory.

As I've said before...two absolutely "identical" stock machines, be it a chainsaw, an automobile engine, or a nuclear reactor...are not assured of performing equally. Too many variables within allowable machining and assembly tolerances to have it be any other way. Justin, I bet you just got a...

The spring AV mounts on the 361 and 441 have been holding up fine, I think. Maybe better than the rubber ones before.

I'm one of the baffled and bitchy ones, so far as the flippy caps go on both my 200's. Never a problem with any of the bigger saws, but the ones on the 200's are forever giving grief.

    Stihl makes it, Justin.

Offer $500, for a pro saw on sale for a while in a hardware store...may get a bite. Fwiw Gary, it's worth every penny of $600 imo.
