What does a Vermeer 1250 weigh?

I have seen specs online for everything from just over 5000lbs to over 7000lbs. I asked the mechanic at Vermeer and he didnt know. So, does anyone know? Mine has the 85hp Perkins with no features that would add any weight to it.

Ours at Assplunge scaled 5,750 without fuel. Same motor, autofeed, and turn-to-curb.

Vermeer no longer lists specs for the 1250 on their website but a Google search led me to this rental yard web page which says the weight is 5670 lbs. - 6333 lbs.

The reason I am asking is we have a GMC 2500 and I want to know if we can haul our chipper with it. My guess is that the factory hitch must only be rated to 6000lbs.... do you think that sounds about right?

The factory hitch on my F150 is rated for 10,000lbs, 1000lbs tongue weight. You'll be fine.
