Oh yeah...is it right that elm hinges very well. One stem has a good sidelean, and the other has a good side and back lean to be pulled over. The latter can have a retainer line installed, which is good, as there is a house as the target.
 
Ulmus thomasi
Highest btu of the Elms and possibly of all hardwoods.
Only a few trees./stands i have come across in Ontario.
Only cut down one and it was dead and reacts much like American and Red Elm with an open notch
you can have great control to about 45degrees.
Really pretty elm with nice pyramid shape. :)
