Remember the forestry unit I started to rearmount way back in September??

We finally slowed down enough to get in the shop and get it done.

Heres the truck when we started.

I shortened up the wheelbase to 84" cab to axle

Yah, the batteries go dead in a instant on the camera, I don't bother with the date anymore.

It drives nice, turns very short.

I got into this project before the economy tanked. I hope I can get rid of 2 more of these.

I could help you get rid of one............................but I can't really pay you any money for it.:D

Is that a 50' working height? What are the details on the chassis? And how much are you asking?

Brett

It is an AL 50 it has current rods and inspection.

The truck is an International 4700 with a DT360 and 5 spd transmission.

I could duplicate that truck (custom build) in your color for $35,000.00

Heahh Noww

Jonserbred, im not interested in that truck but i might have a prodject for you.Or anybody else interested.
I want another one of these, I need with a cummins diesel 98 or eariler with the old school mech. fuel injection.

This truck is twenty foot and the nose will turn awesome , but as you can see with the long axle, the back isa bitch.
We are thinking maybe 16 footer this time.
Im still leaning toward twenty foot.
And finally the dump must be pto driven and the color has to be white and black The engine dang close to new preferably totally new.

Johnsy, is that truck shorter than a factory ALC unit? I think the factory CA is 84"

Yes, the shortness of it requires extra outriggers.

Live with it? Shoot 4 beat 2 anywho.

I want the 65 foot working height material handling version.

Be alright for alot of stuff but I would much rather have a 70-75 foot boom. Half the stuff I climb is because I don't have enough height.

My first bucket was a 40 footer. Seemed like I always needed another ten feet, so the next one I bought was 50'. Same thing, always 10 feet too short. My current bucket is 60' and guess what? So, now I'm looking at a 75' spider lift. :D
