Quick 200T question

Well, I finally took the spark arrestor outta my 200T today, sounds like a whole different saw now. Love it. Adjusted everything so it runs properly now. My only question is, the screw that's hold the spark arrestor in, do I need to put that back in or can it just be left out? I'm just curious if it does anything besides hold the spark arrestor in. Thanks!

If it is like the 020t, the screw doesn't do anything that requires it to be put back.

Ditto what Jay said. It holds the screen in and that is all. Put it in your 'spare Stihl screws' jar in the shop.
