I have a 1994 Chevy pickup and the paint is starting to peel. My question is; is there anything I can do to arrest this or do I just need to get the thing painted?

Re-paint, something about the primer they used those years, even a lot of the Fords from that era have that problem.

Agree, I've seen a few Chevy's like that, and late 80's and early 90's Fords. On my Toyota the clear coat on the hood and roof is flaking, seen a few like that too.

somebody told me something about those model years, oil based primer, not oil based paint.... makes for a shitty long term result. Probably best to sandblast it, prime it and paint it right, if you are going to own it for the long term, if not, sell it and buy better. :D
