Has anyone heard more about that new Husky top-handle saw that was talked about earlier in the year???

Agreed. My dealers told me "two weeks" back in March. I have since bought 2 200T. A little heavy, not really, but they rip. I may switch all to Stihl soon. Leave Husky to the homeowners at Home depot

I heard that earlier this spring they were about to release the saw, but it was delayed until this fall for some reason. My dealer was able to order it early spring, but they are not able too now.

I picked one up for my boss. He loves it. We cleaned out a bunch of his old saws on ebay and he wanted to try it. We gave it the ultimate test. He used it on 70% of a 110' tulip removal. He is impressed. He has ran all husky, jonsered and stihl top handles since top handles came out. It put a smile on his face, so I'm happy.

T435. Replacement for 334 338. It is supposed to be about $300. They don't seem to be hitting the shelves to fast.

The 435 is already out there and is a rebadged Redmax. I think they are talking about the 540xpt the saw that only exists in the Husky labs never to be seen in the real world.

Yup. The 540 is going to be the new Husky. The 435 is better than its Stihl counterpart but it is kinda clunky IMO.

I bought the red max turned orange....piece of crap .... to this day it is the only saw i ever sold back to the dealer.... though he says some climbers like it , NOT ME .....I told him to sell it and give me whatever he thought was was fair , afterwards.... a Husky customer deserves HUSKY design and manufacture!!!\
