Butch, For what ever it may be worth.... I think your system is too complex...and that the 3 word rule on Andy's thread is killing us also.
I've played the game before on another forum and it ran for over 500 posts.(and was hilarious) There the only rule was to pick up from the last word in the previous post. The liberty of posting anything from one word to several paragraphs allowedpeople to be creative and turn the story in a specific direction...and then someone else could steer it back to a previous theme.
Andy's 3 word thing couldbe hilarious but when we are "fighting" to steer the story with only 3 words it becomes almost incoherent. The moderated rulz you have proposed are going to make it hard to participate andmay make it too slow.
One more thing-Thatther forum was a bowhunting forum and the stated premise was that our "hero" was a dedicated traditional bowhunter. We sent him on wild adventures into the ridiculous all over he world but the bowhunting theme kept a basic line of thought going to keep everything turning around. Maybe we should start with a premise that our central character will be an arborist.
