Mowing grass this evening..

I was mowing lomls yard...its borderd by a Cn mainline on the south side, a 90 acre field after that.
Going along the rr I noticed I had company. 20+ big azz 4 wing dragonflys scarfing up skeeters....cool as heck...then the barnswallows showed up. Probably 30-40 of them, couldn't count, to danm many.
What an airshow!
I've had the swallows before but never the dragonflys.

They are here too. Never saw swarms before and flying with barn swallows also. Not the usual bluish metallic colors. Brownish. Eat em up buddies. Plenty of skeeters this year.
