We just launched the Luke's Floor section of the web site, and are really excited! Just go to www.treestuff.com/lukesfloor or navigate there by clicking on the link in the upper menu of the main site.
The basic gist of it is simple, items are for sale and you buy them, but with a twist. The items are all one offs, listed by TreeStuff, or other sellers AND the prices drop every day. It's what we call The Fuse. Each item has a specific Fuse amount and the price drops by that much each morning.
Items listed by TreeStuff will generally have no minimum price, however outside sellers can specify a minimum price and if the item hits it without selling the listing is removed.
Both buyers and sellers can rely on Treestuff to protect parties in the event of any hiccups with delivery or listing accuracy. Items ship directly from seller to buyer and the sellers have the option to set shipping costs themselves or include them in the sale price.
All listings are free, and sellers receive a TreeStuff Gift Card for the amount of the sale minus 3% once the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
The idea is to sell lightly used or new items and turn that stuff into new gear. You can still sell your stuff for cold hard cash a lot of different places including here on the House, but if you want to reach a slightly different audience, have all the payment stuff taken care of and turn it around on new gear, then maybe Luke's Floor is your thing.
