Paint job leaves something to be desired; but it is a Bandit 250, and paint is possible.
Might be driving up to check it out.
Says the bed is extended -14 foot long; must have extended the rear of frame, too???
Maybe that is why it hits the hitch when he dumps a load (see the crease in the back edge of the bed).

I looked at buying back my F450 from the landscaper I sold it to in 2007, but it appears to have received "zero" maintenance...
A shame, as it was a beast of a truck.

There are deals to be found every day. I paid $7500 for my 2000 F550 with a flatbed. $8500 for the 06 F550 4wd cab and chassis.

After having a 550 I can't ever see buying a smaller dually work truck.

Bandit makes both chippers and grinders in black.

I think it looks fine, myself. We have one of their black grinders, always refer to it as the black bandit.

This one looks so cool in black.

14 ft, extended frame?. creases?.be carefull,
i know i had a 1 ton with a 12 ft bed, extended frame, and one of my guys was pulling the wood trailer (16ft) and was cited for too long a vehicle, had to have a commercial liscence for the combination, i had to go get it from the tow yard

My chip truck is a 06' 450 and I have to say it has been a great truck so far. I really want to go 550 in the future once I have everything payed off next year.

Yep, you can see the 24" extension hey welded onto the back of the hitch plate at the rear of the frame.
Not sure that is the one to consider. Looking at F550s with toolbox and chipbox body combo.

I couldn't tell from the picture, but I suspect that it was a matter of someone forgetting to remove the tow slug from the receiver before dumping. Only takes once. I'd be seriously inspecting the receiver. A Park Aide did that number on the truck and ripped the well build/ welded, heavy duty receiver from the frame.
