i wished i had the money right now so i could get these 2 saws to add to my shed and to my collection :D.

(2 Steel brand chainsaws. All different sized bars from 24 in to 5 ft. $450 for both saws and bars.)

and here is the pictures of them

Those two looks like perhaps a Contra and an 090 .Nice collectors saws but something you wouldn't care to handle all day .

lol i heard that i know for 450.00 i could buy them and sell them on e-bay for a lot more then i paid for them.or i could just keep them

That is a great picture, Willard.
Did you use regular chain for that or tungsten carbide tipped?

Stig the only chain that would stand up was Stihl .404 harvester semi chisel chain. Had to be touched up with a file about every 2nd cut. Some of these rolls depending on the grade of paper took up to 5 minutes at WOT to make one cut. With these cull rolls cut in half the paper mill was then able to fit them into their re-pulper and then make a new roll of paper over again.
Good job while it lasted, $100 per hr ,12 hrs a day. The best day me and Robbie had was 45 paper rolls cut. Now the mill has a hydraulic 60" saw to do the work we did.
Our local mill complex is called Tolko Manitoba and their SPX kraft paper is one of the strongest if not the strongest paper in the world , used mainly for making cement bags.

Google Tolko SPX kraft paper.

I'll say this about cement bags, you can't tear the freakin things with your bare hands unless you are tough as a nail . Fact is you have to beat pretty hard with a pointed shovel to tear them open .

I heard most of our paper goes to Mexico where cement and cement bags are big business down there. Your right Al I've poured enough cement myself and the only way to open those bags is with a spade or shovel. Stuff was sure tough to cut with the 090. One of those big 54" rolls has about a mile of paper in them and weighs about 6,000 lbs.
