No, but it sure would be handy with all these bucket accessible jobs I've been getting. Damn! Hoping 90-120 days it'll be here, I dunno. Good thing comes with time, it's all for a reason in the end.

I ran Harlans bucket all morning, just wearing my saddle. And though "I should just get my own, since I'll need it anyways" Running his is just like twisting the dagger in my chest, the freaking thing rocks.

This is what I use.

I just saw Buckingham body harnesses with tether on Ebay for $30 from the Buckingham store. I bought several things from that store and have always been happy. Free shipping too.

We have one of those.......Those feed thru buckles suck ass! The only feature I like is the dorsal attachment d is out on that long tether. Which makes it somewhat safer should you slip and fall while on the ground with it

I bet a nickle they're illegal. Just for laughs, go "hang" in it for a few minutes... see how it feels. Then, imagine being knocked out or injured...

Suspension trauma sets in much faster in full body harnesses especially when suspended from that attachment between the shoulders. Also if still conscious it is vey difficult to 'recover' when hanging from the back point. Something to think about.

So hanging from a d on a body belt would be any better? I understand about suspension trauma associated with leg straps, but if I were ever to get tossed from a bucket I would rather be wearing a full body harness. And a properly fitting full body harness will give some support on the upper torso.

With a back attachment, you have pretty much zero chance of pulling yourself back up into the bucket. As a climber I would prefer something that might possibly somehow give me half a chance at self recovery if I happened to slip out of the bucket.

Not at all, I mean I am not a doctor but I am guessing any full body harness is 100 times better than a body belt.

I guess I was comparing it to a saddle. I know all the stuff about fall restraint and fall arrest, and maybe it is the rock climber in me but i would take 100 falls in a saddle before one in a full body rig.
