Does anyone have an opinion on these either of these saws? I just found a couple for cheap but I have very little experience with Husky saws. Thanks

We just retired a Husky 460. I liked it but hated it.. Good saw, but. Oiler plates and oilers always replacing. The plastic choke and start position eventually wear too much to work proper. Damn primer bulb...

The one I found is going for $200. It looks like it's pretty well used but I have to take what I can get right now, if it goes through the summer that would suit me fine.

I'd suggest not to waste you time or money, they are home owner/ranch saws, meant for light to medium duty work. They use the lesser quality parts and are much harder to service than the professional models in that range.
In that size range I'd look for a used 346xp or 550xp, a size up and I'd go with the 362, 357 or 562xp.

Thanks. I will heed your advice

Yes, Echo has made some great strides in the last few years, I think the purchase of Shindiawa improved their equipment. I can't say anything good about them, but I also can't say anything bad about them, if that makes sense.

It makes sense. They really are trying to get more of the market.
They had some serious filter problems and less desirable chain speed not so long ago. But they actively work on it. I'm happy with my last two purchases. And it is nice to see they have a supposedly true pro line now

I just picked up their 355T, I don't have much experience with other top handles to compare it to, but i like it much better than the 192 I had used. I have the 355T and the 450P, I am very impressed with Echo's equip

351 is a great saw, one of the best limbing saws I have tested.
It was out before 346NE but other wise pretty much same saw.

Thanks Magnus. There is one for sale nearby for $180. I might pick it up.

I also bought a 590 echo and ordered the 3/4 wrap bars for it. It's supper nice. And after a muffler mod and some tuning I would put MINE up against any 60cc with only a MM ...( you may laugh, run what you brung) IMO I think the 20'' inch bar is way to small it will pull a 28'' with skip on it no problem. 400 bucks can't go wrong. Was some sceptisizme until I ran it with muff mod. FWIW Levi I have had a 455 rancher for like 4 years now still starts on the 3 pull. Hope that helps
