I had a great time as a first time competitor, met a ton of new tree people, put a bunch of tools in the "toolbox". Best event for me was work climb. Open accent was good also.
Oldest competitor 71 y.o J.B youngest was 42. Winner was Rich Hattier of the five who advanced to the masters challenge.
I have my work climb to upload tomorrow from my gopro but here are some shots from the event.
The pine had a honey bee hive that was screened off the eve prior, no one stung to my knowledge.
Hard not to have a big grin at things like this. Went into it for fun got that and so much more. I think 11th was were I placed but do not have confirmation that is 100% verified.
This am was just just some rec climbing in the masters tree to end a great time.
More to come as pics and vids are processed.
One thing I did notice, I am not a gear junkie as bad as some others........
Until my next Treestuff order
