I quit smoking a few months ago and I've been dippin skoal since. Not much to be curious about it's all unhealthy.
 
I quit smoking in December..
Now... as I read this.. .these products as they dissolve would thus then be digested... I see colon and stomach cancer on the rise with this scenario:(

I'm in a rural location, all the young 'cowboys' have a worn circle in their back jeans' pocket. It's being discouraged by the schools, finally. Just a few years ago, the kids could sit and spit during classes.....yuk.

Tobacco use of any form is disgusting to me.....but I guess only if I'm up close and personal with the person.

Don't try it Butch, then you won't have to quit someday again.
 
One bad thing about snuff, is that you can't use it very well in a car. The ashtray is a bad choice, it probably isn't good for the paint job, and if its warm weather with the windows open, and some people are in the back seat, it will likely fly back in and get them. Best to leave it alone.
 
The snuff we have here is not like "chew" it's just placed under the lip and stays there until you feel it's time take new "prilla" as we call it here so you don't go and spit all the time !!
Sweden was on it's way to not join EU when the other EU countries wanted us forbidd this fine tobacco product :)
But in all fairness you should not try it very hard quit :(
it's "better" for the health then smoking but still not good though !
 
I tried some snus stuff, little pouches of no flavor. Ive "dipped" copenhagen for half my life now. Cocaine in a can.
 
Shucks back in the day I could chew mail pouch or dip Skoal and drink beer at the same time .:lol: I kinda grossed a lot of people out too .

I gave it up though--the chew not the beer .
 
Copenhagen can do a bad number on your gums. Hate to be a dentist and have such patients come in. How much to rebuild my mouth?

I wouldn't be surprised if the people who use it though, don't get many sore throats. It probably kills germs.
 
When i was in the Marine Corps, 2 of my drill instructors swallowed their copenhagen regularly. i cant swallow that stuff.

When I was on the Shots, I used to do real "snuff". Super fine ground menthol tobacco from one of the Skandic countries. open the flap, dump a little pile on the web of my hand and snort, burned like hell, kept my lungs pink though.
 
I always hated/envied the guys on fire that chewed because it seemed to help them stay awake during long boring night shifts. Still, I was never tempted to try it out.
