Can anyone ID this stump grinder?

I was cruising the Craigslist today and saw this old thing. What the heck is it? It doesn't really matter to me other then for curiosity sake.

One of my competitors was selling one of those last year. He called it a Vermeer Big Wheel. I asked the Vermeer mechanic and he never heard of that. Maybe someone here knows of a grinder called a Big Wheel.

I remember when he used to ride around town with it. What a freakin' site that was. I think he was selling two of them, one working and one for parts. I think he wanted $2k.

I think Steve Hansen has that grinder, it slides straight side to side, instead of a center pivot. Funky.

This is the kind that I used with Davey in the late 60's. Up and down is on cylinders in the legs that support the wheels. Side to side is along the shaft at top. You could get a real mountain of chips behind it with the clearance that it had. About the same as the new ones without the center pivot. It is a Vermeer.

Nah, Steve's is a typical tow behind setup, although it also slides side to side.
