200T for sale...

I ran across this ad on craigs list, located a little bit north of Seattle. I know nothing of the seller.

That is a pretty high price for so elderly a saw, seems to me. But the saw looks to be in decent shape, so if you have your heart set on a 200T, might be worth a look.

I wouldn't buy any classic Stihl(or Husky for that matter) from someone I didn't know. Those are commonly cloned parts, and you have no idea what's gonna showup. Looks too clean to me.

My 200 is acting up. I did look it over and test it a bit. Think it might be the accelerator pump thing that goes out. I got a 2511, so no rush.

I sold my 200t in 2020 for $1200.00. So that price isn’t that bad.

It's even missing that little "Stihl" button on the starter handle that covers the knot of the pull cord. Those ALWAYS fell off in short order.
