    The crane guy has a two ton truck that will say"Turning right", or "Turning left", depending on which way you have moved the turn signal. It keeps saying it until the winker clicks off. When driving the truck I find it a bit embarrassing, it's quite loud.

    I like the expression, good way to say out beyond just plain remote. Possibly locked gates involved.

    I don't know how it might be in other areas, but often when giving advanced notice about noise here, people will often say an encompassing word that means that you are doing a good job and they appreciate your effort. It might be followed with a "Be careful", as well. A quick and easily made...

    Imo people have a right to think it discourteous for workers to make noise in some situations, and those situations can be ones of their own choosing. In the morning on a holiday might be one. The fact that someone feels obligated to work on the fourth has nothing to do with the close by...
