I've never seen guitar live like that by anyone else. Song after song after song of masterful playing. He would play the guitar in all sorts of different positions too, like up and over and behind his head and stuff. Seemed like a real genuine individual too if it's possible to get that vibe...

I recall he had a piece of carpet that his chair sat on and that was how he'd find his way back to sitting down when he'd get up and go crazy. At one point I remember he smashed his head off a cymbal and didn't even miss a note. Highly energetic performer for a blind guy.

I saw him live. Amazing performer.

Bad ass. I played tenor sax for a decade of my life, lessons/school band. It's funny I still have my sax, but never play it.

Now back to some real tunes. Soundgarden, blow up the outside world. I was fortunate as a child. My dad(2nd stepdad) is a schoolteacher and a music teacher, performed live music/ taught music for probably forty years now. All the guitar I ever learned was taught to me on a old school fender...

Partied with these dudes in '93 two years before this recording, and long before they turned ghey! Banff after skiing while a buddy of mine took a ice climbing course we stumbled into a bar with these dudes playing. Ended up hiking up to some natural hotsprings above the town, hallucinogenics...

It happened though and it was the big bobbing head right off the cymbal, looked like it musta smarted a bit but as a true showman he maintained composure and made it back to his chair without screwing up the song. His chair was in the middle of a small carpet so he could navigate to it once...
