Ha scored big time. The Vibergs I had been looking at for $430 I got for $100. Didn't even know the local sawshop carried boots and apparently nobody else did either as they had been sitting on a few Vibergs for awhile. Well they put them out on a rack in the middle of the floor, about 1/2...
It shoulda just been a season and a bit. Vibergs will go years, even in the woods and than they can be rebuilt for cheaper than buying another new pair of Vibergs atleast. Pair I was drooling over Sunday had $430 on the tag!!!
Goretex and thinsulate lasting as long as a full leather boot? I'm highly doubtful. I'll put a pair of full leather Vibergs up against any boot for standing in spurs.
