I disagree. A friend in Florida pays $2k or more a month in dump fees and he runs 2 grapples, no chippers and he's growing every year. A grapple truck is just so efficient, it blows chippers out of the water. A grapple is a chipper, chip truck, log truck and mini crane all in one. One truck does...

I have Cory, worked with them a number of months last year. I'll spend a good chunk of this year as well working with them. They are the way to do tree work IMO, chippers are obsolete as far as I'm concerned

Yep, Fleet rotation. TCI has a good number of grapples. He buys and sells a few every year. It's easy to tell Eric's trucks apart from all the rest. The seat isn't a huge deal. Just gotta have a watchful eye, once you operate it for A bit, it becomes second nature to be sure it's put down. The...

I feel hurt, didn't even send a photo of the painted truck haha. I missed seeing it in person by a few days. Glad to see it made it there safe and sound! Your world is forever changed now bro. Pretty soon you'll be coming back to buy #2 after selling your chipper and chip truck haha. And stow...

You traded in the M15 pretty fast. Is it more beneficial for you to trade in the new machine every year or two and get a new one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Holy cow that's a big sucker! Curious, why not go the double axle route when you've got such a heavy machine? Most of the guys I know with tow behinds as large as that prefer the dual axle, as they say it spreads the weight out more and it's easier to maneuver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turf damage isn't that bad. I've spent a little over a month probably working with a crew that had one. As long as you take it easy and turn gentle and wide it's actually very easy on the turf. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Jay! I wondered about how I'd attach it midline. Will have to pick up some of those jaws, knew they had them for cable but didn't know I could use it on a rope as well. And I'll have to look into the handle! I have a buddy who could make me a cool one, might have to have him hook me up!

That's awesome Dave! I know a few guys here with one. One guy heated a 2000sqft house and his 3000sqft shed/shop. Including his water. His utility bills for the 4-5 months of winter were like $100? If that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've actually never minded stump grinding. With a small machine it does suck big time, but running anything above 40hp or, I don't mind. Pop some headphones in, turn on some good music and I'm good to go for a day of grinding.

That should be the revolution wheel. A buddy of mine owns a 7015 with the revolution and a 7500 with Greenteeth. Having run both for awhille, he prefers the Greenteeth to the Revolution. More aggressive, and 3 sides to a tooth. We just put greenteeth on our vermeer 502 and man, it totally...
