    Consequences should dictate the amount of ass chewing. Folding a set of blueprints stupidly carries fewer consequences than running a rope through the chipper. That ass chewing should make a memorable impression.

    Yea, it's hard to argue with a long track record of "success". They're gonna tend to not listen. Before firing per stig, I'd let him know that firing's an option if he doesn't improve. You have high standards, and he needs to meet them to work for you. That's how every job works.

    A Dutchman. The rules are in place for a reason. You can sometimes break the rules for awhile, and still make out alright(see my work), but eventually you're gonna find out why it's a rule when it bites you in the ass. Dude needs to get better, if nothing else, as a matter of pride.
