    Yes it can be spliced but the line is old and owes me nothing. But the smell of new rope is so addicting!

    If it works ain't nuttin wrong with it. I need a new 1/2 3 strand. Mine got damaged mid line almost severed a whole strand pulling a dead elm with the stumper. (sharp corner)

    I have used that stuff I hated it, it seamed to want to stick to everything as it was so fuzzy, I much prefer a hard lay 3 strand.

    I like a good three strand as well it's hard to beat for the dirty work of this profession. I have a few slings, lanyard, and 1/2" lowering lines also to be used with the massdam.
