    Was pretty funny. I’d no idea what it was. Just another dead gray yard tree. Then sunshine came out when I cut it, and it was hard! Harder than desert dried euc I’m used to. Took a bit to figure out what it was.

    Digging up old threads…Osage dead and dried on the stump in the desert is incredibly hard. Small log, ported 80cc saw…I stopped to check the chain like 3 times. Beautiful wood, hard, smooth, shiny when just cut with a sharp knife.
