Man, I am going to buy a good set of steel toed all purpose climbing boots this year, and then bite the bullet on some badass spur climbers the following year. 150 bucks don't get you s#$# for boots, well....that is exactly what it gets you I suppose.

Well...my Haix packed it in about 3 months ago. Damn things aren't build for one as wide footed as myself and the leather ended up separating from the sole. Bummer. In the end, I got about 8 hard months out of em. While I feel that they were a great boot and I would love to have another pair, I...

I need a good pair of spur climbing boots. The Haiks are great for all else, but after around 4 hrs in spurs my heels start to hurt. Still rocking them, amazingly durable!

My friend has been working for Bartlett in Victoria and his stories about the viberg shop out there make me drool. I'd love to have a dedicated pair of spur boots. Not cheap, but thats tree work for ya! Good thing we make the big bucks.... HA!

I did get them from Rob, Nora. I still buy a fair amount of gear from him, he's fair and always good for a BS session. I'll probably buy the wide variety next, but so far I am pretty impressed. Comfy to be on hooks all day, great for maneuvering the canopy, warm and relatively lightweight. I...

The Haik's are holding up pretty well, although I'm going to have to get a wider boot next pair.

I spent about 4 hrs on hooks on Fri. Pretty comfy, it was a lot of up and down, tip tying + butt cuts on a lombardy. You all know what its like. These boots rawk! No break in time, I don't need to wear my orthotics for my fallen arches, as the arch support is great. Comfy to run in, comfy for...

I think I'm going to spring for some Vibergs for the hook work at some point. These will be for the dainty climbing and groundwork.

I just picked up a new pair of boots from my arbo-supplier in Calgary. So far so good, but they haven't been up a tree or been beat up for a solid 6 months yet. http://www.haix-bootstore.com/forestry-boots/protector-light Really comfy, super light, but probably won't be the best for being on...
