    I think you can find that SRT is fantastic. Hate is a strong word, but unless I'm just working my way down from the top, at the end of the climb, I hate climbing DdRT. Get a rope-walking set-up and get it dialed in. Way gentler on your body, IMO, than anything except a Wraptor or bucket.

    I do this from time to time. Way easier than computer drawing.

    Just to point out another option, you can top the tree, while there are energy-dissipating limbs below the topping cut. You don't have to strip them all. With poor roots, like I understand dead ash to have, this might be important to put less force on the roots.

    Price is a consideration. Cheapest is maybe best, maybe worst. A well-advertised company may be the best, may be the worst. Being "a professional" just means getting paid for the service. There are top notch pro, and terrible pro climbers. Be confident in the climber/ company. You don't want...
