Tim, you can clip one biner to the end of the sling, then spin the sling a couple times, and there will be an 'eye' at the other end. Clip that eye. It will spiral coil up pretty neatly. Unclip one end and the spins fall out of the sling, ready for use. Stores on your gear loop. Not snaggy...

When I'm feeling flush, or have a second climber, I'll upgrade to the zk2.

What is this stopper you speak of? Pic, please. I need a new tether. I climbed on my RW1 the other day.

I'm probably not going to buy a ZK2, at the moment, as the ZK1 works fine. What kind of proper tether should I buy? A stick taped to the tether works okay, but its not as high performance. Is there a commercially made tether for the HH1 that helps to keep it oriented? My homemade tech cord...

I haven't climbed on a HH2 or a RW zk2 with a proper tether. I have a hard time arguing with seamless transition from DdRT to SRT, and less stuff in my face, with the HHs. I have a poor, stiff tether that I need to improve for my RWzk1. Am I missing out? Tether tips?

I had noticed your knot orientation. A slight twist here or there affects a fine tuned system.

Are you using a pulley on the HH's bridge ring biner? A major difference.

Nick Bonner, The Treestuff search engine gave me the HH link with HITCH HIKER, but not HITCHHIKER. Easy for tree folks to put as one word, and miss it. A good part of the TreeStuff online catalog are the RELATED PRODUCTS link. Having the tender tether and recommended RIT cord, etc on that...

The RW isn't life support. The HH looks hella hard to break across a limb. Uni, RR give me a concern for this occurrence which should be avoided, but sometimes might be unavoidable. Hoping the Akimbo is beefier than lighter.

Probably, the knot sets harder over time/ use. If I untied it all the time, it would come free, more easily. I took it off today. didn't get the tension any better the second time, but still works. My new to me MCRS has a ring that doesn't work with my pulley. I've been climbing without. Its...

Since I usually only climb on a 120' rope (tying on another if necessary, and using the wraptor line), its easy to have the groundie or myself simply advance the HH along the rope to the right place for the next tree. I think I took mine off a month ago. Maybe time for a new piece of cord, or...
