    Interesting. Locally we call that rounds, as in unsplit firewood rounds, contrasting split firewood. My contracts also may say log chunks, as in non measured, non bucked, get it down and leave it for them to cut.

    Ya, Joel, everyone started at the beginning. From what I can tell, nobody started doing tree work after being born with a silver spoon in their mouth. R. J. Simplot started out shaking/ sorting (something like that)other people's potatoes and became a potato baron.

    Synonymous with western Washington (state). The biggest WRc is about a two hour drive on the Olympic Peninsula from me, near a champion (top blew out, so no longer tallest, IIRC) spruce. Both in the 250-300' range IIRC. As Stig approprately spells it, redcedar is a misnomer. Cedrus genus...
