    Seems to me that all the tension-wood bending is going to concentrate at the horizontal-cut of the face-cut, IF cut low. The Wizzy, German cut, full gap-face, and triple-hinge all allow flexing over more length, with the tension fibers flexing over a more distributed length. IDK. Never...
