    Cool. Maybe a mirror or gopro-camera-to- smartphone set- up (mobile backup camera, etc) for connecting. Does that grapple not have a pushing- dogs type feature?

    I face my bucket toward the rear, and back the operator platform into it. If i need to load the trailer, i lift it over the side. I need to figure out a similar set up for my root-rake grapple. Maybe on the tongue, over the battery box.

    I've only needed to chain up without an attachment a couple times. Have ripped, freehand or CSM, down to moveable log lengths. Just ordered a dozen 2x8 Alturnamats for the coming wet season, to go with my broken weld. :|: FWIW I've found that I can stack plywood on top of my grapple to move...

    Is it forward of the operator? I looked at a video. Looks like you need to keep it from going as low as it is designed to hang.

    The exhaust goes out the front on most, doesn't it? Going backward is the way, and lean side to side. You platform must be adjustable, somehow.

    Spring loaded platform, Dave? When you can barely, barely drag or fully lift, the kangaroo tail can keep you from catching the piece on the ground stalling or tipping up on the front idlers. I often cut things down to where I can just lift them. Adds stability on cross slopes...

    Heavy end up hill, don't drive up a hill unloaded, nose first, unless certain. You might spring load your platform, you are a significant part of the counterweight. When I'm at/ near max capacity, I hang back as far as possible, and hang my leg back, almost horizontal, like a kangaroo tail...
