I didn't realize, but I did get a picture when I took a random shot to know where to aim the camera since I couldn't see the moon on the screen.

I was chasing the source of light in the clouds to street lights for a while til I just happened upon the extremely dim moon as I was giving up and coming back inside. It was white on one end fading to a red clay color

Cloudy here too, but I saw it a little. Its very dim. I think a break in the clouds will come in 15min or so. Garbage Sony HX80 camera, everything sucks about it!
