Class 2 Splice - Wire inserted into core to keep eye open.
Jamie- the best way I've seen wire (cable) used to keep an eye open was a short piece (about 8" long) what was welded at the ends to make it smooth and to prevent fraying. When you say your measurements are off, can you be more specific? Why not stick with a class 1 rope? love nick- NickfromWI
