    Of all the things that threaten my saws, the sun is of the least concern. As for theft, it’s not really an issue, as the dog is in the pickup so it’s always nearby.

    Everthing rides loose, saws, ropes, fuel, toolboxes. The more I put in, the less it slides about.

    I don’t mind salesmen, they’ve a job to do, i have worked in car showrooms so I’ve been around them. But if they’re telling you untruths (that the Giant is made in the states) and slagging off the competition, it’s a bad sign.

    I looked at a Giant, made in Holland, waiting list was too long though. Seem like good machines.

    Never had an issue, it has low and high speed, in low speed I cannot say I’ve ever felt it lacks power to the wheels, in high it doesn’t like slopes, but high speed is really used to cross flat spaces empty handed if you know what I mean, but I’ve nothing to compare them to.     We prefer the Avant, similar specs and horse power, but slightly better.

    Articulated telescopic loaders are the greatest tool you can have. If you can afford one, buy it. If you can’t, buy it anyway.
