That is very generous of you, thank you.

@Maximalist as far a cutting power goes do you consider that saw (model # ?) to be any more powerful than the T540i XP ? And, are you familiar with what model handheld Husky blower is the most powerful? Husky 436LiB is the best hand held we can get at this time. I think you get the...

Do you have the fine screen on your saw seen in most of Max's pictures? That's a must. Yes the chain is not the greatest (soft) I'm looking forward to running a Stihl hardness chain on it someday. Chain brake gets chip choked up at times too - clean it out.

Trimmed with all battery again today.

    Husky T540I XP

Yeah. I ran my 200x battery dry the other day and while up in the tree pulled the old style 150 battery out of my pole saw to make a few more cuts before done for lunch. It cut better than my previous model Husky batt saw (Maybe chain combo cuts better) but no where near as good as with a...

    Husky T540I XP

I have two of the older saws and I was just going to move one to permanent chipper duty for crippling the occasional crotch. But, I have to tell you, it's going to be hard to put up with its impotence knowing that there is a knew stud on the block. Likewise with the four older tech batteries I...

    Husky T540I XP

I've put a bunch more time in with my T540i XP. It is an amazing saw. If you own the previous model Husky try one of these in wood. If you have been waiting for battery saws to get better, they have. I love this thing and consider it first for all my top handle needs. Strong aggressive...

    Husky T540I XP

This saw is simply amazing. If you get a chance to try one, do. Someone said they wouldn't bore cut (previous model didn't) so I tried it today. I have never had any saw and chain compo bore so aggressively.

    Husky T540I XP

Yeah I wish they were lighter like the little Echo. I didn't even notice it said excluding bar and chain in specs. but I did notice it was only .14 kg heavier than the 535i which I would think compares to the 536i which I have now. I also checked my batts which I thought were the bigger batt...

    Husky T540I XP

Maybe. Boosting power on what is basically an existing saw is a good start. I read a bit of an article about graphene (sp) battery technology coming along the other day but since it listed recharges as only 50 times I thought it was more of a come on article than a real jump in accomplishment.

    Husky T540I XP

Nice, thanks. It looks like it will perform well. I've used the older 535 batt saw for trimming and loved it. Now this looks powerful enough (from some other videos of cutting I've seen) to be used over a much broader range of my tree work - more and bigger cuts.

    Husky T540I XP

Yeah, that's one great way to distinguish it. My mind just does a hiccup full stop every time I hear someone say, "Zero Emissions" like they believe it.

The power generation plant and surrounding area get all the fumes from an electric saw Sean rather than," it makes no fumes." Distinction many electric car lovers love to miss. Benjo have you seen any info anywhere you can link or point me to?

    Husky T540I XP

Looks like 540 is it greengreer. We'll know more by the time they are up for sale in the US. There are definitely a few things like that Deva. I think of as "soft" for a chainsaw, but love the low noise, no fumes at my location - sorry power plant surrounding homes, near instant ready with no...

    Husky T540I XP

Yeah, that's great. Looks like they can be run right up to the point you switch to a mid size saw on a takedown. Nice.

I'll see if I can look them up. Thanks

    Husky T540I XP

Only saw a post or two about it on AT. I'll check again tomorrow. Yes I hope the batts are cross compatible. I like the 536 for trimming jobs with mostly 3 inch cuts or smaller and a handful of big cut up to 10 inches. The 540 looks like you could just work through trees even if they have a...

    Husky T540I XP

@Mick! Would you mind weighing in on this? I searched Euro info and it looks like maybe not for sale there just yet either? Have you heard of cost? (I saw a reference to it being pricey.)

In the vids they look hot. Could become my main pruning saw.

Who has run one? What's it like compared to the previous T536 LI XP top handle electric Husky? Is it actually more powerful? Can you use previous batteries...
