Should be stamped right on the side, there’s some strength loss if pulled across the minor axis, but not enough that it’s an issue to one person not loading them dynamically. They’re awesome for canopy ties too!

I recently got an old but like new Zag tether for a wrench, kinda like the Rounds tether but older and maybe heavier. Looking forward to trying it out on the older ZZ. Also wondering why I hadn’t bought a Zigzag sooner. So smooth. Found an older one at a killer price, then 2 months later found a...

Yea that’s a sweet price on the Quickie at Sherrill and TreeStuff right now, very handy.

I’m loving the SAKA MiniMax. Got an old HAAS and it works, but my homemade one is better and the SAKA is better than my homemade. Haven’t tried the Velox. Looks nice enough.

No, that’s also made by CT though. The one I posted is a permanent foot ascender.

View the photo and open the edit function and tweak it in a way that’s not even noticeable, like zoom a tiny bit or rotate it a degree or two. Should post normal after.

Homemade Rope Wrench made from a CMI Glide pulley, I think model RP140. Move the sheave to an upper side hole and a Slic pin in the opposite side lower hole. I had an extra Rope Runner pin, but a real Rope Wrench pin is shorter and nicer looking. Should be doable with the TriTie or Micky Mouse...

Right, wrenchs if you’re gonna take it off and use it for DdRT and SRT. But if that ZZ and RW combo is strictly SRT, then it can get bolted on and stay there semi permanently. I was just thinking of ways to keep it rigid and reduce flop. For sure though, get a Quickie and try it, and if you...

I don’t own a ZZ so just brainstorming a little while not really in the know. Why not a locknut and bolt to attach tether to ZZ body? A shoulder bolt and washers or some type of bolt that doesn’t have threads where it’ll contact the ZZ and tether.

That tether comes in 10” or 12” I think. Both mine are 10”. I’ve heard wonderful things about the SAKA MiniMax. Foot ascenders I have are an old (2003) Petzl Pantin, a Camp TurboFoot, and 2 left foot Climbing Technology and I can’t say I dislike any of them. The old Petzl is my favorite. At...

I really like this tether in the shorter length.
