    You'll want to use a stiff rope with those spools, otherwise they can be a pain as the primary rigging point. It's tough to get the rope to release and ride the spool, you kinda gotta feed it and pull it at the same time. Great friction/control under load though.

    Great thread guys. Rigging by yourself is such a pain in the ass. It's twice the effort for half the gain. I end up doing it as often as not. Double whipping branches down using slide line slings, or hang and chop. Making crash pads and pulling things over with my truck. It's so nice to...
