I looked up some 7 inch grinders. Most of it is marketing wank, but they claim 15 amps. 120 volts times 15 amps is 1800 watts. One of those little 2000 watt guys would run that, seriously doubt it was drawing 15 amps.

How big is the grinder? You can get grinding discs or cutting discs.
