I borrowed a kayak to try Cory. It is billed as un-flipable. You have to really be wanker to flip it. I was just that wanker. So far no kayaks or SUP boards. The search continues though.

Looks like he had just fallen from a great distance and landed on a paddle board.

I enjoyed myself very much kayaking around the pond when I went. Right up until I went overboard.

I am worried that if someone saw my floating around in a kayak that they might try to dart me and take me back to the zoo. Bear in a boat sort of thing. Gawd I do want one though. No idea how I would buy it though. I don't reckon I could run It through the bank as a business expense.

I think it looks pretty good for the money. Been watching some videos on how to enter and exit a kayak, and what to do when you tip one over. Not a fishing kayak exactly, but I think I can make it work.

Quiet and simple is the exact opposite of my life these days, everyone's life I suppose. Cept Burnham's.

    Stand Up Paddling

I am really interested in how quiet it would be. Back in my bachelor days I would spend weeks without talking to anyone, cept the dog. Good listener, not much of a conversationalist. I miss those days. Maybe an early morning on the water listening to the birds and such would be good.

I watched some yahoo do that on our local lake. I was amazed how fast she went. Still looking at that el cheapo kayak at K Mart. Its a double sit on top model. Holds 500 pounds so it might juuuuuuuust work.

Using my otherworldly Google powers, I have deduced that human death from a killer whale attack in the wild has never been documented. They have killed several people while in captivity though. Bastids!

I wonder if a killer whale has ever eaten a human? Probably just gobble them up, no reporting to be done.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uExBYql-p-Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I found one, I think. This looks cool a hell, actually. I look like that when I shovel grain, I might be good at it! I would need a couple boards duct taped together though!
