I often take my pinto on a loopie on my saddle as it's light and easily moved about. Past, a loop runner with a small CMI.
If I feel the need, I'll set a haul line for the grounds man to haul a saw or too many loopies for speedlining up to me.

Those stubs and tear out cuts, left unaddressed and not dressed up, will cause you grief especially with speed lines and lowering lines. Dress em up, cut them smooth.
