Pretty regular. I switch my climb lines out a lot depending the trees I climb. I have multiple lenghts of climb lines. They range from 40 foot to 200 foot. Often on the same property, I will have 40 foot tall oaks to prune or td as well as 150 foot pines to deal with.

Yup. I use the 5/16s or 8mm ultra tech. So much easier to dress the bone. Performs nice as well.

Different for each climber. Often based on a desired feel and performance. Too broad a question you will have to eventually answer for yourself by trying different climb lines and cordage. I swing on Ultra Tech 5/16ths I use a few different lines with it. Works fine. Unless I use an All Gear...

I do it with some weight on the line if the stem allows. If it is too bid around for my comfort, no. Fast when you can though.

Very rare I will disassemble the set up for a redirect. I will if I am switching onto another rope I have set or changing the set up for reverse. Changing the tail to the climb set up. I am often just particular about where I will pull the system through after uncoupling from my bridge. I often...

Exactly.. I want the ease of switching it up..... I can dial it in enough to suit my needs. I have also noticed, that when bringing up a climber into this realm, they are used to a Blakes or Taughtline or really tight prussic. A lot of friction. I find they are more comfortable with the action...

Eventually, you will build up enough muscle to just come back on SRT. Pull yourself up the rope, tend and keep going.
