Yup. As you spread your weight over more redirects, you can hang on smaller stuff, especially when the angles are right.
I usually wont go past 5 redirects. Try not to go over 4. Son of a gun to pull your line out. Thats using natural crotches.
10 feet up, silliness. Head height is fine if you are that worried about it. If a ground man is cutting any where near your rope, you have the wrong groundie IMHO.

I needed to replace my foot loop. A stiff step from On Rope 1. Knee ascender clips right into it and you can just leave it on your foot as you work. The stiff insert fell out of it after some wear, i like it better that way for limb walking. It's basically an ankle type strap that also runs...
Not yet and I would not use the wooden one. I would want the set up so it can be installed mid line. If I did not like it.. I would just sell it on here :)
