I don’t mean to offend anyone, I offer my knowledge and I stand behind of what I know, I am a certified splicer and people here deserves to have the correct information. I apologize if I said anything wrong..
Nawpp.. that would be like human looking robots :) another info I might want to add is when you do hand splice a rope looses about 10% of its strength vs. machine sewn ropes performs 100% of its published breaking strength..
there is a lot of terminology being used in this industry and that creates same amount of confusions… some call “grizzly splice” , means “stitched eyes” , some call sewn eyes.. some call machine spliced.. we just learn how to be on the same page.. :)
An honest answer to your question; for companies like us we all rather go with the machine stitched eyes on most of the climbing rope splices because of the efficiency.. imagine it takes approximately 20 minutes +- to hand splice a 8mm or 10mm rope vs. machine splice both ends in about 2 minutes...
Ofcourse, I will definitely upload one this week.. Let me see what people are demanding the most. Maybe I will start showing them how to splice your own friction cord.
Thank you man! We have few trusted partnerships in Europe that makes ropes exclusively for us for the US market under our brand. We will also start to carry Teufelberger and Courant ropes very soon to extend the options to our clients..
