Never used one. I think they hit the market after I was long since looking for a rope grab :). Looks much like a Petzl Micro or Macrograb.

Oh, yeah...Gibbs makes a 3/4 inch rope grab unit as well.

The rope channel on a Petzl Macrograb is 20mm wide, iirc. So a 3/4" rope just fits, by a smidge.

My cable cored fliplines are 5/8". The rope lanyards are 13mm...1/2".

The ART unit is very nice. If money is a consideration, the Petzl Micro and Macro Grabs also offer excellent utility.

A less expensive option but still offering long wear and stiffness for flipping could be KMIII. I like it, anyway. One problem with double headed lanyards...I tried them and found this to make them very frustrating for me anyway...I'd often as not use most of the lanyard length even with a...
