I don't think anything recent on that particular situation, Cory. Just a faint echo in my head :)...maybe something similar has happened in the past and one of us has noted it. I don't recall anything specific. I might be completely wrong.

I will just have to go along in my own way on this...the whole idea of a "God", or any of the many other gods, is non-sensical to me. I have no rub with anyone else finding the opposite to be true. If it works for you, great. Now if we want to get into the pros and cons of organized...

If your blood pressure is satisfactory, then you probably are fine with your salt intake. I'm careful about salt and fat (another thing processed/canned foods are often high in) for the health benefits, but I also just dislike the taste of most things that are saltier than they need to be.

Frozen foods usually are quite good, assuming they are not processed to an appreciable degree. Canned foods are the opposite, for most...too much salt is nearly ubiquitous. That's the main reason we seldom buy canned foods. But you know your habits and preferences...it's clearly better to not...

Sure, if it gets thrown out. I took you to mean composting kitchen waste, not wasted food, was expensive, etc. We basically never throw away food. That's the height of ridiculousness :). If it comes into our house, it gets eaten, period. The organic stuff from our kitchen that we put in our...

How is it expensive and energy intensive? We just toss compostable veg stuff in a 5-foot diameter wire basket made of field fencing and a few T posts behind the woodshed and turn it with a shovel every few months or so. Till most of it into the garden spot every other year.

Edit...a myth about tires. But being inside a car does protect one. https://www.wtamu.edu/~cbaird/sq/2012/12/14/why-do-car-tires-protect-you-from-lightning-strikes/ So I now must doubt the bucket situation would protect.

I think it could...the rubber tires of an automobile are supposed to protect from grounding, so protect people inside from lightning. Certainly not sure about either case.

It seems to me having the correct tool for any job, is the right way to do that job. Having a set of torx drives is no different than having a set of sockets or box end wrenches, is it?

It's still a crappy drive, no matter how it's made :D.

Well, whatever father fricker that invented the standard Phillips screw head should roast in whatever version of hell he believes in, as far as I'm concerned. I wish all we had here were torx...or at least square drive.
