    I use a distal hitch prussic on a quad-lock biner. I don't use a rope grab on my steel core. Just never have.

    My school always taught to have textile in our steelcore lanyard setup. To be able to cut in case of needing a rescue. Keep things as streamlined as possible whatever system you build
