    I keep a small clevis through an eye , bigger stainless hook through that keep it about two foot off the ground....serves as dead weight climbing and my no knot haul up for whatever I my need that I did not forsee...

    ...after some roof shoveling with similar setup I am now using a rope snap at the lowest point. Captive eye section holds pulley in place as snap allows quick on and off at the bridge.

    Lot of people go to hospital shoveling roofs , many times the fall is harmless into piles of snow sometimes a hard surface. Using the HH for access , egress , and work positioning. Rigged a skyline.
