    I'm with Willie...though I'm not really expecting to put a pair of springboards to work at this point in my life :)...which he might very well still do! I just have a want, as opposed to a need, to have a springboard or two in my shed next to the 064 and all the rest of my old school goodies.

    A tool from a time passed, brothers...many would say. But only sort of. Nothing brings out the need for a proper tree jack like falling outlaws, old left behind fence-line boundary trees, roadside monsters, and hazard trees. Just an observation, from one of your token old guy fallers. :D
