Do you use a wire/long steel rod fid for the drenaline?
I have been watching the splicing vids and all it seems to need is patience and a 50cm or longer wire fid
Getting to sit at the same table and hear Cory's stories live was a privilege. I am sure we could get some serious work done. Now let's get this cold and nasty weather behind us and get some treework done!
@cory we separated the brush from logs and left a path behind the fence. This way people can buck and haul away. In these situations we try to leave the site as convenient as possible in case we get a call later to clean up.
Derby. We are at 50% which suits us fine given the temperatures. Expectations are low between December and February so anything that shows up is welcome. I have a new engine coming for the chipper next week so the prep is keeping me busy.
Finished this oak this morning. Glad it is over. It had lost its central leader in a storm. Quite a back lean so we used the GRCS from a tree far far way.
